Get your drink on...

Think Tank Momma

This is just a quick post because I forgot all about it and I'm heading out the door in T-minus whatever time it takes me to whip up it up. (The post, not the drink. Although.......)

My girls and I took a weekend trip to Charleston, SC last summer. If you have never been to Charleston, you are truly missing out. It is a beautiful town with lots of fabulous 5 star eateries and delicious dives. But if I ever catch you at a chain restaurant there, I will learn how to block your IP address and ban you for life.

Anydrink, we had a wonderful little concoction while we were there and I thought this would be a perfect time to hook up with Think Tank Momma's Share a Staw and give you the mixins'. I copied it directly from www.food.com because I'm lazy like that short on time.

Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Servings:

1

Directions:

Prep Time: 2 mins
Total Time: 2 mins
  1. 1Muddle the raspberries in the bottom of a martini glass.
  2. 2Combine the raspberry vodka, cointreau, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and lime juice in a shaker.
  3. 3Shake and strain into glass.
  4. 4Top with champagne.
  5. 5Garnish with a sprig of mint.
  6. 6Enjoy!
  7. 7Tip: When I serve these at a party, I make a pitcher of Flirtini "mixer" (raspberry vodka, Cointreau, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and lime juice) ahead of time. Then guests can pour the "mixer" in their glass, and add the champagne and raspberries themselves!

Where is your husband when you are posting such devilish things as this?

I have prayed with my husband for advice. The Lord told him for me to open his bible to this verse.

Ephesians 6:12 warns us of such things: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Satan loves it when you drink alcohol and use drugs because you are then in no shape to fight against his attacks. You are leaving yourself wide open to demonic possession.

I'm dirtying my knees tonight to pray for your husband to get rid of your demonic possessions and prevent you from influencing Satan into others.

Love I am sure you are on your knees but while you are there in your self pious bullshit why not ask your god to show you the REAL truth of the word NOT what your husband feeds you... For y9ou to assume that someone who drinks occasionally is devil bound is bullshit. Jesus drank wine as did the disciples. JESUS said be not a drunkard.. meaning don't drink everyday and lay around in your own crap doing nothing else... take your vile spewing bullshit elsewhere..
If YOU are supposed to be the representation of the LOVE of Christ YOU are failing miserably.. get some help seriously.

Good Lord Love. You are going to need a stiff drink if you visit me because I've never met a cocktail or happy pill that I didn't like.

Thanks for the recipe Princess. I think I'll print it out & give it to the bartender next time I go out drinking.

Sounds delicious! If you could just explain to me what muddle means and how I would manage to do that to the raspberries in the glass without breaking the glass, then I actually might attempt making this!

So glad to have found you!

Oh dang, I was going to lecture you all about the sins of the drink but Love beat me to it. Shucks. Meanwhile, I am totally printing this recipe and buying the ingredients, just so I know what it tastes like when others fall prey to its allure.

Yeah, that's the reason. You betcha.

Seriously though, love you, love your blog. XOXO (Stolen from Supah's secret stash...bwaaa haaaa haaa)
