Another shortie but sweetie...well, maybe not so sweet...

Interesting fact:

Running late to school significantly decreases the amount of traffic. (win)

It also makes you want to ram your suburban through the back end of the car that pulls out in front of you illegally. (lose)

As well as the moron who doesn't understand the concept of who's turn it really is at a four way stop. (lose...and it's overwhelmingly surprising how many people don't get it.)

It also makes you run the risk of showing up after the bell.....which would mean you have to walk your kids in to school and sign them in....perhaps in your pajamas. (lose...in an epic manner...humiliation for your kids)

So if you see me out and about today...make sure I've had a couple (or 12) diet cokes. I got off on the wrong foot this morning. Consider yourself warned...

My son insisted I walk him to his class this morning. As if being in my PJs wasn't bad enough, my hair was a disaster thanks to the wind.

Uh oh. That sucks. What a rotten start to the day. I hate being behind at the beginning of the day, because too often, it sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Funny, I consider showing up to school in my pajamas and publicly humiliating my kids to be a "win". Hmmm...tom'ay'toes tom'ah'toes.

I try to get to my oldest's school as close to the late bell as possible b/c there is much less traffic. Same with picking him up. I just have to find that time when I'm not TOO late.

Go have a diet coke or 12. :)

The only thing worse is getting stuck behind the person driving carefully (slow) when you are in a hurry.
Hope the diet coke make the day better.

Those kinds of mornings SUCK.

I always have road rage. Even when Im not running late.=)

Letting the kids ride the bus prevents most of those situations (when it comes to getting kids to school).

What about those people that honk at you to move faster than you can move your foot from the break to the gas? Yeah, those are the ones I'd like to go all out on!!

lol. SO funny! I am always late dropping off my oldest at preschool.

And I can't believe how all those people got driver's licenses in the first place without the ability to comprehend a four-way stop.

Ditto for the people that don't know how to use a turn signal. Morons.

Thanks for following! I am following you back!

I think only about 15% of the population know how a four way stop works. And none of that 15% lives in my province, that's for sure.
Sounds like a rough morning. Nothing good ever happens when I leave the house in pjs.. those tend to be the days where the I forget I'm almost out of gas or something like that.

That toon totally isn't you...first the boobs are sagging way too low, the hair is the wrong color... and there is NO Tiara!

And at least you had on pj's...some people sleep nude...justsayin

I remember sticking my head out the window of my car like a dog in an attempt to dry my hair when I was in high school.

we get lots of moms in jammies signing their kids in. They usually look so pissed we dont say a word.

the form they have to sign asks for a reason for their tardy<---I have no idea why

we get some interesting responses to that one.. I could start a whole blog just about those entries.

Rut roh!

Why can't people get the 4 way stop thing? I don't understand why it's so hard
