I shall miss you lazy summer mornings of sleeping in....
Gone are the days of the sun reflecting off the cool waters of the beach, pool, lake....and glistening drinks. (Yes, I am including the reflection off my silver diet coke cans.)
No more late nights playing outside with the boys...catching fire flies and pop flies...playing kickball at dusk.
No more hopping in the truck, traveling with the boys to a new place.
Hello alarm clocks and rushing around in the morning.
Here we come school traffic and homework.
Then right around the corner comes fall sports....with the hustle and bustle of practices and games.
Hurry up, get a bath, get in bed....
And then we do it all over again the next day....until summer comes.
Liva la Summer! Save me a seat for June...preferably one pool, lake, or ocean side...

At least you've got one grown up kid. Granted, the "grown up" part is totally relative since I still shove oreos in my mouth for breakfast when no one is looking.
Good luck to the boys! I bet they'll be rockin school.
I wish my summers consisted of fun stuff like that. For me, it's just more of the same, "hurry up, go to bed" stuff, with kids crying because it's still light out. I actually enjoy the fall because it gets dark earlier and I don't hear about all the neighbor kids getting to stay up later.
I will save you a place!
Mine started school last week. I didn't hae any pool days or each days. Although wait yeah I got to go to Va Beach last weekend a whirlwind 3 day weekend lol
How come summer is gone in the blink of an eye & yet the school year seems to drag on for-EVAH!

I actually saw a couple trees who's leaves were starting to change. I am just going to cry now. I love Fall, but I hate hate hate winter!!
We still have 9 more days til school and I'm going to milk every day for what it's worth!
Although I am looking forward to some quiet since both will be in school!

My kids start in a week, and I will admit, I am finally starting to except it...

It seems to have ended much quicker than usual this year. *sigh*
I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree. I cannot wait to kick...err..I mean walk the kids to school on that first day! Bring on the snow 'cause mama is tired of catering!

Life changes when school starts.
I missed beach time this summer. Next year I am definitely scheduling some beach time.
The thought of winter makes me cringe right now.
I wish every day was Summer.

Ugh, this summer did go by waaaaaay to fast. We start school next Monday. And I know its gonna be crazy busy!
