Ya know what? Santa Claus is a dead mo' fo' when I see him, cause I do own the soundtrack to Alvin. You know what's worse than Alvin and the Chipmunks? The Chipettes singing Beyonce.
Love your post its! And what is up with the theater charging a holy BUTT LOAD for a damn popcorn & soda? Should be a crime. We spent $25 for movie tickets for 2 the other night to see Avatar 3D and got a SMALL popcorn and MEDIUM drink to share and it cost us ANOTHER $12!! Cheatin Bastards! Haha - anyways - great Post - It's!!!!
Great post-its! Glad your parents finally welcomed the 90s! My mom just joined in a few months ago with the whole text thing and now she has a better phone than me. Grr!!!
We took our 3 yr old to the movie for the first time (luckily 1 yr old was free). It's highway robbery! Dad wanted to do the whole popcorn/drink experience...gulp...$7.50 for m drink/popcorn (and it didn't even have salt!)
Ohhhh....Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas got stuck in my CD player last Christmas and it was the only CD we could listen to until the CD player died a few months later....my son loved it, I HATED it :) I was so happy when the CD player died!
Oh your parents sounds like mine-they still have an answering machine and now my mom wants an iphone.
Love this post it note thing. I am going to have to start doing it, especially because I just quit my shop for OFFICE DEPOT. Anyhoo-I love your post about old man winter. What in the world is going on with this weather?
I am now a new follower. Pop on by to my blog and follow back if you would like. I am actually doing my very first giveaway!
:) first time visiting. LOL! Thank you for not cursing, but being funny still! I can be sarcastic too. Not enough to be crowned, but it's okay I guess.
Found you from the Chief and couldn't NOT comment on a blog called Princess of Sarcasm. Awesome.
And you almost make me want to watch Jersey Shore. But I'm busy watching really uplifting TV like RR/RW challenges, I Love New York, and Conveyer Belt of Love.
Just so you will know, I did watch one episode of Jersey Shore last week..not my cup of tea. I still have an answering machine, but I also have a 36 piece set of Alvin and The Chipmunks glasses! You might be rich one day!
Can you at least use a credit card at your local theater? My husband and I do all credit cards (we pay off at end of month). Our local theater is so 60s. Too bad it takes 90 minutes one way to get to anther theater.
Currently I am stay-at-home mom who is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. I was dubbed "The Princess" by friends because of my prince of a husband who spoils me rotten. I'm just here trying to serve you nuggets from a southern fried princess. If you are one of those health food nuts, you need not apply. (KIDDING! Everyone is welcome. Even you nuts!)

The stinkin theater turned down my application for popcorn the last time we went, the kids were pissed! Loved your post its!
I hated Alvin. That would have to be one of the more painful memories of the holiday.
You got to see my Chipmunks! I think I have to find a way to go see that movie. How can you not want the soundtrack it's so fun!
I've seen some episodes of Jersey Shore. We were watchin it on Christmas Eve while we were wrappin presents! :)

Ok i totally didn't get the Jersey Shore references, but since it's all the rage right now I'm thinking I'm finally gonna have to check it out.
I wanna see the chipmonk movie, but only because of my love Chuck.
Ok, so this Jersey Shore? Channel? Time? I'm intrigued . . . :)
Jersey Shore....how did I miss this? When and what channel does it happen on?
My aunt got a bump-it and we had fun playing with it at Thanksgiving. Lots of pictures that must remain secret forever!
My in-laws just got a phone that doesn't have a cord attached...I don't think they are ready for the 90s yet!
I refuse to watch Jersey Shore because I see enough hard bodied men every time I look in the mirror.
It's true if you believe it.
I'm just now jumping on your bandwagon. I'll have to catch up with what I've missed.
I spent more on food than the damn movie tix! But I did enjoy the Chipettes.
THEATER ONES .. good one.
do you take amex?

I don't watch that Jersey show, so no idea what you are talking about.
And early mornings? Yeah, my boys have been up BEFORE the crack of dawn all Christmas break. Their first day back today? SLEPT IN. WTF????
Oh your parents sounds like mine-they still have an answering machine and now my mom wants an iphone.

How did I become anonymous???
I guess you subconsciously did not want to admit in public that you've been holding on to that "little gold mine" for so long. ;)
And yeah, I can't see the Queen Mother watching Jersey Shore. Stick to Survivor...
Snooki + bumpits = LOL! (Wait. Did I just admit to knowing what/who you are talking about?!?)
I bartered sexual favors with Hubs and got excused from seeing The Squequal. Thank God.
